In addition to activities at the local chapter level, students come together for a State Career Development Conference where they compete in different competitions in various categories, such as, marketing, management, merchandising, entrepreneurship, hospitality, sports and entertainment marketing, sales, advertising, culinary arts, and criminal justice careers. Students show their knowledge and professionalism in front of judges who evaluate their performance in each competitive event.
